Peter Madden, 44, of Ocean City is running for re-election for Council at Large in the May 10th election. Madden, broker/owner of Goldcoast Sothebys international real estate, is looking to secure his third term on city council where he previously held the positions of Vice President (2015) and President (2016-2020).

About Me

Pete Madden, who lives in town with his wife Ashley and four children Riley, Avery, Brynn and Carter is passionate about continuing the forward progress the current administration has made over the past several years.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Madden, a graduate of LaSalle HighSchool and St Joseph’s University, made the move to Ocean City in October of 2004, where he immediately started taking an interest in community…

Madden understands the importance of a seat on city council at large and the implications that has on the community he serves.  He hopes to continue to represent the interests of Ocean City residents—whether you have been here for generations or are in the new wave of young families calling Ocean City home, Madden’s even keeled approach to politics makes him the perfect candidate.

Whether it is concerns of the public or highlighting the strengths of our beautiful beach community, Madden knows driving over the bridges into town brings peace and a feeling of home.

  • Shore Medical Planned Giving Development Board

  • Madden’s diverse interests keeps his hand on the pulse of the community.  

His hope is to keep that sense of calm and relaxation for generations to come while simultaneously adding to
the vibrancy of an ever changing landscape of small town living.
